You’ve trained hard, you’ve built up your skills, your passion is there! Now it’s time to take it to the next level! For years, I've built my career teaching and coaching middle school, high school, and college athletes. Armed with a Master’s degree in Health Physical Education and Motor Learning from Kent State University in Ohio, I was among the first women in the country to serve as Coordinator of Women's Athletics at Union College in Schnectady, New York; and as a High School Coach at the prestigious Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., I was recognized by The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, The Women’s Sports Foundation, The National Volleyball Coaching Association, and USA Today for outstanding coaching.
Over the past 20 plus years, I have helped players secure athletic scholarships to colleges such as Duke University, UC Berkeley, Temple University, Yale, Howard University, Clark-Atlanta University, George Washington University, and Long Beach State University, to name a few.
My student-athletes have won Division I NCAA All-America Awards and Division I National Championships, and several have played on the USA National teams, as well as on professional teams overseas.
And I am most proud that I was able to help my own two daughters successfully navigated the athletic recruiting process and receive athletic scholarships to Division I and Division II colleges.
As the Head Volleyball Coach at the University of the District of Columbia, I recruited student athletes from the United States and other countries as far away as Brazil.
My success as a high school and college coach has been highly rewarding and fulfilling, enabling me to make a long- lasting impact on student-athletes and their families. Because of these direct experiences, I find it so hard to see families who are struggling and doing it all wrong.
Over the years, I have had many opportunities to utilize many of the recruiting services available to student-athletes and their families and found that many fell short. A lot of high school coaches, club coaches, guidance counselors and athletic recruiting services are leading student athletes and their parents down the wrong path.
I want to help them. So, for the first time ever... I am bundling my own, proven methods that teach students and parents the ins and outs of the athletic recruiting process through a system that empowers families to take control and short-cut the athletic recruiting process...My “Do It Yourself” plan is designed specifically for student-athletes with a passion for sports, a desire to play sports in college, and who have a willingness to do whatever it takes to find the colleges that match their athletic abilities...and to empower their parents to assist them.
I want to give you that plan. That plan is S.I.G.N. M.E.! - my online athletic scholarship information course.
